Lindsay Stamper is a Certified Professional Dog Trainer (CPDT-KA) for Taking The Lead, LLC. She provides Board and Train, In Home, and Virtual Lessons to clients in Columbus, Ohio. Lindsay has been training exotic and domestic animals since 2012. She has a Bachelor's Degree in Marine Biology from the University of Wisconsin-Whitewater. Lindsay’s career began with internships training dolphins, seals, and sea lions. Her first job was a trainer and performer for Joel Slaven’s Professional Animals located at the Columbus Zoo and Aquarium. Then Lindsay moved to Pilot Dogs in 2016 where she trained guide dogs for visually impaired people. This style of training drew Lindsay to her current position as a domestic dog trainer. Lindsay founded and runs Taking the Lead, LLC from her home in Grove City, Ohio. She loves working one-on-one with her clients and their dogs to teach them successful training habits. Lindsay’s goal is to eventually start training and certifying Therapy Dogs and Service Dogs. Some of Lindsay’s hobbies include board games, reading fantasy books, water sports, playing dungeons and dragons, and all things nerdy.
